Hi Michael and all ...

This simple model was originally built with Rhino some time ago ... all the styles relate to Flamingo rendering materials and the trees were Flamingo.

I was simply using it as an experiment today ...

I removed the original fascia from the lower roof and drew a closed line around the perimeter of the roof ... then a rectangle (you can see it hanging in space near the front porch post).

I thought it might sweep to create a continuous fascia board for that roof (similar to what is now there). I tried sweep in all the ways I could imagine and got unsatisfactory results.

I finally built the fascia as a series of extrusions. This worked well but I was looking to find something more automatic and one shot. Am I missing something basic or hoping for something MoI won't yet do?

I did build a relatively simple window frame with stops for the glass ... beautiful and instantaneous.
