yes your suggestion is a way to do what i want. but, sorry if i say, the workflow could be better. my intention is to select a curve from the sphere and do sweep with the rectangle profile, directly on surface, or maybe some higher or lower. with the construct/offset command i can not play around with the values. in this case i should know the distance. hope you know what i mean.
