At work we use a program acquired recently by Autodesk, called MoldFlow, which simulates the molding process of plastic parts.
Most, if not all Finite Element Analysis programs use a meshed model to define the part.
I've noticed with Moldflow that the meshing engine is quite antiquated and difficult to use, maybe because of MoI's meshes I'm thinking this, anyhow the mesh file format it can read in and generate is an ASCII Binary Model *.udm I was just wondering how different this is to the other mesh formats that are exported out from MoI.
