I did a search for this before asking this question but didn't find it answered to my liking.
MoI is so intuitive that it gave me the courage to try a more "advanced" 3d package in Modo.
I'm quite a newbie when it comes to this stuff so i'm not sure if this question is stupid.
I've tried exporting files as both .obj and .lwo formats. Both that can be read by modo. Maybe I am too big of a newbie to Modo and am missing something stupid but when I end up using those files in modo, it doesnt allow me to edit the model. It just groups the objects by shape, allowing me to texture / render it.
Ideally I would like to make the model defining shapes with the easy to use MoI interface and then go into Modo to add lots of fine details.
I noticed that a few people have mentioned using modo with MoI. Am I doing something wrong or is it just a limitation that's caused by bringing a NURBS based file into a sub-d program?
Sorry for the long winded post.
