1. Surface Analysis & Quality Control – Normal Inversion: A button to visualize and flip the orientation of surface normals. Draft Analysis: A color-coded shader (false-color mapping) to verify if the surface can be demolded along a specific axis. Curvature Display: A visualization mode using curvature combs on isoparametric curves (U/V) or a mean/Gaussian curvature map.
2. Advanced Editing & Manipulation – Mirroring: A button to duplicate control points across a plane ($XY$, $XZ$, $YZ$) for real-time symmetrical part design. Smooth / Relax: A function to refine the distribution of selected control points and eliminate local bumps. Numerical Input (Inp3D): A panel for directly entering exact coordinates ($X, Y, Z$) for selected control points.
3. Continuity & Topology – Continuity Management (G0, G1, G2): Automatic constraints on point rows to ensure tangent ($G1$) or curvature-continuous ($G2$) connections between surface patches. Dynamic Creation: The ability to add or insert new profile curves directly from the interface without reloading a JSON/IGES file.
