Hi Mala, there are a couple different ways to do that.

In your case here since the curve's plane is at 90 degrees from the Top view, there will be a "perp" snap that you can use with Transform > Rotate > Rotate axis like this:



If your object plane was not rotated only in the Top view then that "Perp" snap would not be suitable and instead if you build a surface by selecting the closed curve and running Construct > Planar you will then get a "Normal" snap like this:



Also another method is if you make 2 construction lines that start at the same point you can also get a "normal" snap from that too:
