Hi Booleano, if you're trying to cut the ellipsoid into 2 pieces, start by selecting the ellipsoid solid only. Then run Construct > Boolean > Difference and then when MoI says "Select objects to subtract" select the cutting curve and push "Done".

That will cut the ellipsoid into 2 separate solid pieces.
