The New MeshRender Application

Michael describes MOI3D as "3D modeling for designers and artists".

That, is a perfect description for why I appreciate MOI3D so much.

It is not only suitable for designing mechanical parts by designers. There is an organic design capability that it brings to the table for artists.

I have always had fun with the artistic side of MOI3D; but, never more than the last few days as I have finally had a rendering vehicle that is both inexpensive enough and easy enough for me to pursue.

I was playing around last night with the idea of designing a marble with colored occlusion. Here is one of my first attempts.

The Mimaki full-color 3D printer is capable of printing in clear resin and could actually print this marble smoothly.

While those with the means of investing in previously existing rendering products or have taken the time to learn complex applications that include rendering capabilit, like Blender, this is my first foray into rendering. This is the first one with which I'm aware that is both low enough in cost and ease of learning to be used in the classroom or by homeschoolers. And, enhances MOI3D's artistic capabilities.

P.S. What does "Out of attachment space" mean?
