After the Insect jokes, did some google-ing and found a Stag Beetle model in .blend (blender) format.

Opened before rigging .blend file in Blender, and saved as Wavefront OBJ format. 2,886kb.
Imported with MoI5beta SubD, to get model into MoI.
The solid model looks good, with faces and closed edges.

Saved as .3dm, at second try 51,444 kb, first try: 51919 kb.
