Creating a planar surface from a 2d curve results in strange unfilled geometry

Hi quat, that is just a display artifact where the display mesher did not generate a lot of triangles in that area.

It's purely a cosmetic display issue, it doesn't mean anything is wrong with your actual object.

That type of display glitch can tend to happen more when you have a shape that is only very slightly curved across a larger area, as you have here.

Just ignore that particular thing.

The shape refusing to boolean or fillet is due to some other issue, please post the .3dm model file so I can take a look at it.
