So I renamed the moi.css and the viewport...files in MoI4 ui folder, to ...Original, and replaced them with the ones in the above link.
Then go to MoI > options > View, and change the background color to a grey color., as per the instructions:

Seemed to work well.
The results are partially fairly similar to MoI5beta "dark" theme.
It would be nice to modify the MoI4 dark theme to be very similar to the MoI5beta dark theme, IMHO.

I do not know what I am doing, so someone else probably has a better answer.
