I had trouble with blend ..as I always do..

What I was trying to do is to select all the pieces of the star shape join them together and then blend to the circle ...which end up in calculation failed.

When I tried without joining them together it worked.

on the cap with curve I made a new one with 3 pieces this time > loft > scaled the middle one.

Now only the artifacts needs improvement.
