Differences between Rhino and Moi3D FBX export

Hi YR, simply put it's because I put in around 8 months of full time work developing a mesh generation algorithm used in MoI that generates N-gons natively.

Rhino can't do the same currently because its mesh generation algorithm uses triangles to stitch pieces together along trimming boundaries. That's more of the "standard textbook" type of approach.

It's certainly possible they could develop one in Rhino similar to MoI's but it's a difficult area of work and would require the undivided attention of a senior developer for something like a year long period of work. It's difficult to schedule things like that which require such a large block of time and also need lots and lots of testing as well.

I was able to put a priority on developing it for MoI because it makes for a strategic unique piece of technology.
