Surface subdivision seems to be complexe and difficult to handle for hull design.
But your "Luxemotor" (a Dutch Barge), is perfect. I owned one, modified her and sold (photo below).
Often only people based in Europe is interested to draw such shape. Are you based in Europe ?

I spent my childhood on "WWII Liberty Ships" type cargos where my father was commander.
Today, the dream is to build one. But in Europe such project is very expensive to be realistic.
