Hi Mala, bumps can tend to be better modeled in a displacement brush type application like ZBrush or 3D Coat where you can paint directly on surfaces to tune the bump shapes more finely. It's more difficult to make bumps in a CAD program like MoI.

One way to use Flow that could help though would be to focus on making your bump on a straight shape initially where it will be quite a bit easier to control and reason about, and then map from the straight shape onto your torus using Transform > Deform > Flow mapping from a line onto an arc.

Here's an example using some profile curves like this:


Loft with loft style = "Loose" which makes a much more relaxed surface:


Transform > Deform > Flow from the line backbone to the arc, to map the straight shape into a toroidal shape:
