Hi Tony, I've attached a result where I cleaned up some coplanar pieces to be large single planes, constructed another revolve to give it thickness, and used Edit > Trim to cut pieces and then Edit > Join to glue it together into a solid.

Is this going in the right direction for what you need?

Then for the center area see what Pilou is doing above - you would probably want to build a separate solid for that, then boolean union with this one and then fillet edges like Pilou shows above.
